Nueva Esperanza or “New Hope” is a project to start a kids' shelter in Baños de Agua Santa, Ecuador. This project is led by Francisco Ayuy and supported by Noah Chon Lee.

After growing up as an orphan in the Amazon Jungle, Francisco kept in mind what it was like to be a child without anyone to take care of him. As an adult, he and his family are now starting a new shelter to help kids find a safe home and educational opportunities.

We are looking to raise $12,000 minimum in order to build the initial structure and have 2 months of funds to pay for the expenses of Francisco and the family.

If we raise $35,000 it will be enough to build the structure and cover the costs of taking care of 7 kids for 6 months. With $65,000 we would have enough for a year.

Breakdown: $5000 to build two bedrooms, a living room, and bathroom as space for the kids. Every $3,500 we raise is enough to cover 1 month of expenses for Francisco, Alba, and the four kids there now. For an additional $500/month or $17/day past those base costs we can help care for another child beyond the four.
